Refunds and cancellation

Open Billing and use the payment provider’s portal, which is where your subscription lives. You can also email [email protected] and we will cancel it for you.

There is no notice period and no cancellation fee. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not charge you to leave.

At the end of the period you have already paid for — not immediately. If you cancel on the third day of a month you have paid for, you keep the plan for the rest of that month and are not charged again.

The reverse case is treated differently on purpose. If a renewal payment fails, we keep serving your account for three days while the provider retries, rather than cutting you off the same hour. A card that expires should not read as a customer who left.

Anything already deployed to your own site stays yours after you leave. Reports you have already run remain in your account for as long as it exists, and Your data covers deletion.

The Starter and Growth plans include a 14-day trial. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged at all. When a trial ends without being cancelled it becomes a paid subscription on the plan you chose, at the price shown on the pricing page when you started it.

We will refund a subscription charge [refund window — to be confirmed]. Ask by emailing [email protected] from the address on the account, and say which charge you mean.

A refund is issued by a person, not by this software. Nothing in the product can move money on its own — a refund is made in the payment provider’s dashboard, and the provider returns it to the card or account that paid, which can take several working days at their end. We reverse the matching allowance on your account at the same time and record who approved it and why.

Report credit packs are one-off purchases rather than subscriptions: they do not renew, so there is nothing to cancel. Unused credits are refundable on the same terms as above; credits already spent on a completed report are not, because the scan has been run and paid for at the engines.

An annual plan is billed for 10 months and covers 12. Cancelling an annual plan stops the renewal and access continues to the end of the year you paid for.

Every plan is quoted and charged in US dollars, in every country. Your bank may convert at its own rate and add its own fee; that conversion is between you and them and is not something we see or set.

If we change a price it applies to new subscriptions. What you are entitled to is recorded on your account when you buy it, so a later change to the price list does not change your plan underneath you.
