Seen in Search asks answer engines — currently ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity — a set of buyer questions about a market, records how they describe a brand, and computes a score from the results.

A score is an observation, not a guarantee. It is drawn from a sample of answers taken at one moment. Answer engines are non-deterministic and change without notice: the same scan run tomorrow can return a different number, and it does not mean anything went wrong. We publish exactly how the score is computed on the methodology page, so you can judge it for yourself.

Nothing in a report is advice — legal, financial, or otherwise — and we do not promise that acting on a finding will change your visibility.

You need a working business email address. We do not accept personal or disposable addresses, because the product is sold to companies and the email is how we know which company. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details to yourself.

You do not need to own a domain to scan it. That is deliberate — agencies scan client domains, and analysts scan competitors. Scanning a domain gives you no rights over it and makes no claim that you represent it.

• Automate, scrape or resell the service without a written agreement with us.
• Work around scan limits, rate limits or the anti-bot check.
• Use it to harass a company or person, or to present a report as something we endorsed.
• Attempt to reach systems, data or accounts that are not yours.

We may suspend an account that does any of these, and we will tell you why.

Reports quote text produced by third-party answer engines. We do not control that text, we do not verify it, and quoting it is not an endorsement of it. If an engine says something false about your company, the report is evidence of what it said — not a claim by us that it is true.

You may share and republish your own reports. We keep the rights to the software, the scoring method and the site itself.

A report you paid for is private until you publish it; free teaser and partner reports are readable by anyone with the link as soon as they finish — see privacy. You can publish or unpublish any report of yours from its own page.

The service is early access and provided as-is. We may change, pause or withdraw features, and we may change what is included for free. Where a change takes something away that you were relying on, we will give you notice rather than do it quietly.

Every account starts free and includes one full report, with no card taken. Paid plans are subscriptions: you choose a plan on the pricing page, and it renews at the interval you chose — monthly or annually — until you cancel. An annual plan is billed for 10 months and covers 12.

Prices are in US dollars, in every country. Your bank may convert at its own rate and add its own fee, which is between you and them.

Payment is taken by a payment provider, not by us — we never see or store your card. Your receipt comes from the provider that processed the payment.

What you are entitled to is recorded on your account when you buy it. If we later change a price or what a plan includes, that applies to new subscriptions; it does not reach back and change the plan you are already on. Where a change would affect you, we will tell you before it takes effect.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or revenue, or for decisions taken on the basis of a report. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Either of us can end this agreement at any time. You can delete your account from your data.
